Registered Nurse Jobs

Registered Nurse (RNs) are university qualified and registered with the NMBA. RNs are regulated and required to meet key standards of practice. They provide person-centered and evidence-based nursing care which has preventative, curative, supportive, restorative, and palliative elements. They assess and monitor patients, and administer immunisations, medicines and IV Drugs. RNs work independently or in partnership with other health professionals. They are responsible for the delegation of tasks and supervision of ENs and other staff and are held accountable for the nursing care provided. RNs may train staff and educate individuals, families, and communities. They work in a range of clinical, public, private, and community health settings.
